About our volunteer opportunities
Gift Drop Off Volunteers. Our hosts come with bags of gifts for our recipient families. We need volunteers to check them in, confirm that there are gifts for all the children, and various other tasks.
Pick-up Day Volunteers. Each December, our recipient families (more than 250 of them) arrive to pick up their gifts. We need volunteers on the pick-up days to do a number of tasks: check in families, collect the gifts and get them to the cars, etc.
Elf Bazaar. In connection with our Host a Family program, we run an Elf Bazaar. We collect new and gently used clothing items and toys that we make available to our recipient families during the pick-up day. For more information, see our Elf Bazaar page.
Member at Large. We need people who can help with all the things that make our program successful: mailings, answering questions, social media, etc.
Board members. Looking for an opportunity to use your personal or professional skills to make Host a Family better? We are looking for dedicated individuals who are willing to commit more time and energy to our program. We’re looking for people to handle social media, publicity, assist in gift giving coordination and more.
