About the family

I am living as a single mother with 4 beautiful children and our 2 cats, Elsa and Olaf!

I am living alone with my 4 children, ages 24, 15, 10 and 6 and am currently supporting them all on my own. My oldest just had an intense knee surgery and is not currently working. As a family, we usually just hang out with each other at home. On a weekend, we like to sit outside by the firepit in the driveway and make smores, watch movies, listen to music and have family over. We don’t get out much as I have been trying to figure out a way to get out of debt. I feel Christmas is a stressful time for parents. The kids are always excited for presents and for Santa Claus to come. They love getting toy magazines in the mail so they can circle the things they love and dream of. I love being able to see the joy and excitement on my kids faces on Christmas morning when they go downstairs to find their are presents there for them to open. It is so important to me that I will put myself further into debt each year just so they are not disappointed. I need to stop this pattern and I need to get a hold of my finances or we are going to end up in a really bad position. Signing up for this program is one of the things I have come up with to hopefully relieve some of the financial burden I have obtained trying to do it all alone. This is my first year signing up for this and let me tell you, it is a very hard thing to think about doing as some of your pride gets lost in the matter. It was my choice to have all of my children and I should be able to take care of them and provide for them but sometimes it sounds a lot easier than what it actually is. I want you to know that if you choose to help my family, I could not show enough gratitude toward you. Whether you choose my family or another family, I am very thankful that there are people like you in this world that are willing to help others. It takes a very kind and loving heart to be in your position. Thank you so much for your kindess!
