About the family

Our family of 5 is busy and growing by one this spring!

Our family is busy, with a husband in medical school and a mother teaching part-time. After rent and daycare bills, Christmas presents become a little lower on the list. Together, we enjoy cooking dinner each night and spending as much time outside as we can year-round! We bike to school each day as a family, unless it’s snowing!

Household Gift Ideas

We are expecting our fourth baby in March, so that has been an exciting thing for us to talk about! As a family, we enjoy playing outdoors in all weather, so anything for being outside is greatly utilized. Or we could definitely use an update on some bath towels and wash cloths!

Gift Ideas for the Children

Girl Age 7

Our oldest is very into crafts and art; she loves to make sculptures and projects from recyclables and art supplies! Her favorite toys are any of the Real Live Pets (she has the Fingerling and Caged Bird so far) and Lego projects. She reads chapter books each night, mostly girly books.

Our little guy loves Spiderman and all kinds of vehicles! He’s very big into slime and wooden puzzles right now. He doesn’t have any hot wheels tracks but likes to look at them in the store. His favorite quiet-time toy at home is our leapfrog reader!

Girl Age 2

Our youngest is a girly-girl and will play with her baby dolls each day. She likes to feed them and change their diaper, but does not have very many baby clothes to put on them right now! We were gifted a Yoto recently, so her favorite quiet-time activity is listening to stories. She also loves wooden puzzles and things that require matching!
