Mom and children staying at home with Grandma and Grandpa.
My family and I have been staying with my aging parents after losing my job last year after my son had brain surgery in 2024. He has since had a second surgery in 2025. I’m working again but affordable housing is so hard to come by on a single income. My parents were gracious enough to allow us to live with them. My dad has since retired but is now experiencing the early stages of dementia. It’s been a struggle but we’re stronger together.
