Become a Host Today

Every year we look for generous people like you to host local families. Hosts buy gifts and other holiday supplies to help a local family with children from the McFarland, Oregon, or Stoughton area to have a joyful holiday season.

How to Host

If you’re interested in hosting, you can search through the families below to find one, add them to your guest list, and the request to host. We will review the request and you’ll receive information.

Hosting Guidelines

• We ask that you spend $50 per child along with a $50 family gift
  This spending suggestion is an effort to make it seem fair to recipients. We now only allow gift requests for children (18 and under) in the families. For the family gift, please spend $50 on household gifts listed (or grocery/gas gift cards). Additional spending for groceries, gas or household is at your discretion.
• Please choose the best shopping option for you!
  Whether you choose to purchase requested gifts or gift certificate cards is up to you. Any combination is welcome.
• Please organize the gifts for your family
  Please label each family member’s gifts with age, sex and family number (i.e., 12 M- ###) and then place all the items within large box/bag(s), clearly labeled with family #2025.### (found in your confirmation e-mail). This makes it much easier for us to make sure that no one was inadvertently forgotten. This year family numbers include the year, but you don’t need to include that on the label.
• Please do not wrap the gifts
  Family gifts are checked to make sure no one is inadvertently forgotten. Providing wrapping materials (bags or paper) is not required but very much appreciated. Many families do not have these.
• Please ABSOLUTELY NO NAMES or company/group identification
  We encourage you to personalize your gifts. The addition of holiday treats or ornaments, etc. is strongly encouraged but we ask that you please omit any identifying information.
