It’s just my son and I

We love being outdoors, taking hikes or riding bikes, and playing at parks and ponds. I’ve always loved doing crafts but my son just got into doing them with me. I’m a single mother of a wonderful kind, energetic,caring little boy. Things have been hard, we live off just my income so sometimes it’s hard to balance out needs.

I want to take the time to thank you for volunteering to be a host family. Your kindness means very much to me, and I appreciate everything you could get for my son. Being a struggling single mother I worry that he’s missing out on things, cause I can’t give him everything he wants. I do what I can to make his holidays magical, but I still have guilt that I’m not doing enough. And holidays are hard because it feels like I have to choose do I buy cleaning supplies or do I go and get him a Christmas present. Thank you so much for your generosity and making our holiday just a little more special. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday, thank you again
