Receiving a host for our family this year would mean so much to all four of us. Dad is the only one working while our older son has to have knee surgery due to a serious sports injury from football. It has been really rough on all of us but especially tough on our 12 year old being as he’s always been a super active sports loving kid. I didn’t work for a year once covid started… to take care of our kids while out of school and now our oldest son needs me home while recovering from surgery. I feel bad because I know how heavy their dad’s shoulders must feel having to pay all of the bills himself the past two years. But our children are the most important things to us. Life has definitely been rough but holidays are about family and as long as we have each other well be happy. I really appreciate a host family even reading this or being so kind as to help our family this holiday season.
