This has been a challenging year so far but we are blessed. The love that surrounds our home has been amplified. The hugs longer and warmer until they get too old for my hugs. We spend time having new adventures, going to the movies, racing at the park, singing too loud for too long. We love creating memories that last. It’s the “I love you mommy” and laughs from my little people that make us a happy, strong, connected family. The holidays are the best time in our house not because what you receive but the feelings that come with being around people you love. It’s just us three but we make enough fun to last lifetimes.

Boy Age 5
He has a speech disability so he loves to express himself through art and music. I believe an art based gift or a karaoke machine would brighten his Christmas. Music therapy has helped him come a long way. He also recently started taking a big interest in hot wheels and cars in general.

He really enjoys building things from the ground up. Using magnets to build bridges, blocks to build homes, and pushing cars through the cities he built. He also enjoys sports in every aspect. I think a child soccer ball & net would be something he would whole heartedly enjoy. Or small basketball hoop.

To the family that has extended the gift of Christmas joy. I first would like to thank you whole heartedly. Secondly please imagine the smiles of two little boys on Christmas morning. Them not being left out by circumstances. Please imagine my smile and most likely mom tears as I hug those kids back. I found that asking for help is so hard but receiving it makes you so thankful to good people who care. I’m thankful for this program continuing to provide more than toys but actual joy.
