Family of 5: 3 children

About the family

Single income family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children)

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read about our family! My fiancee and I welcomed our baby boy in May of this year and had an unexpected four week stay in the NICU. We also have two girls, aged seven and ten years old. Shortly after the birth of our son, our old apartment started flooding with each rainy day we would get, so we unexpectedly had to move very promptly in July. Several unfortunate events have caused us to fall behind in our monthly bills, therefore, leaving us to seek for some assistance with Christmas as my girls both very much still believe in Santa Claus. I do not have the heart to tell them he “isn’t real” because of our money situation. We have been blessed to still have everything we need to survive on a daily basis; food, shelter, and clothing! This Christmas will be tough, but I have faith that everything will happen just the way it is supposed too. The greater message to show our children is that we will still be together as a family and that is what matters. Having Christmas presents is just an extra perk. (though at their ages- Christmas is all about the presents! hehe)

Thank You

We would like to sincerely thank you for choosing our family. You are providing relief to not only myself and fiancee, but keeping the magic alive in true Christmas spirit. This is something very personal, but extremely meaningful to us. A program like this is heart warming as a community can come together and help others in need the most. Without something like this, a lot of families would struggle to give their kids the Christmas they deserve. We are truly thankful to be a part of this community. Thank you so very much. We hope you and yours also have the best Christmas! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you! xoxo
