About the family

We strive to be the very best version of ourselves all the while remembering to always stay humble.

Dear host family, The circumstances that have forced me to apply for a host family are unfortunate, but real. After having it all, in an instance it was taken away due to domestic violence. Moving and having to replace everything in my home has been another costly expense I never expected.

It’s been a rather difficult year… However, I’ve always made it a point to stay positive simply because there’s always someone else in life experiencing something worst. A number of unfortunate events taking place at once have considerably caused me to experience a major financial blow that has and continues to effect my children directly. Prior to all of this, it was a tradition for my children and I to go do something special simply because they’re great kids that make honor roll each semester… So they deserve it. But this is merely a distant dream at this point because of the long hours that I’m forced to work now on a daily basis… Despite living in the same home, my children and I rarely see each other now.

I’m drained in every aspect just thinking about everything that I’ve already mentioned. I’ve never been into trauma dumping, but more so transparency. So to anyone who’s decided that my children and I are a match for you… I appreciate and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
