About the family

I’m a single mom of 6. 5 Boys, 1 girl and 2 cats. I work as a full time RN in Madison.

I’m a single mom and full time RN in Madison. I live with my sons and daughter and cats. It’s been a difficult year for all of us and so I’d like to try to make the end of this year the best I can for them. My twin are your typical 17 year olds. They are seniors this year. My middle schooler has been very into basketball and music. I also have a gamer boy. If he could be on the xbox he would be all day and night. My 3 year old is very into marbles. We end up watching a lot of youtube videos of marble chasers. He enjoys them a bit more than me. He also loves trains and cars. My daughter is my sassy mischievous girl who gets into a lot of things. She loves putting treasures into things and carrying them around. She also loves music.

This has been such a difficult year for so many people and families financially, mentally and emotionally. Living paycheck to paycheck or not even that takes its toll on a person. It’s constantly in the back of your mind about bills that are due and if you can make rent. I have nothing to put towards Christmas this year. This program is my saving grace. Without it and families that host families like mine, I’d have nothing to give my kids. So thank you for giving my family, my kids a christmas this year. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
